Mom guilt hits different when your heart is in two places at once. While my babies at home are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with all the fun and magic, I’m here in the NICU, where my littlest one needs me most. I’m his food source, his comfort, his constant—but that doesn’t make it any easier to miss the laughter and joy at home.

I wish I could be in both places at once. I wish I could be the one setting out the leprechaun traps, making the festive pancakes, creating the magic like I always do. But this year, I can’t. And that breaks me.

I just hope my babies know that even when I’m not there, I’m loving them just as fiercely. And I hope my NICU baby knows that every moment I spend here is because he is so, so worth it.

To every mama juggling this impossible balance—you’re not alone. Our hearts were made to hold it all, even when it feels like they’re breaking.

Is anyone else just *barely* surviving this sick season? 😷 My poor kiddos haven’t caught a break for what feels like weeks, and now it’s my turn… 32 weeks pregnant and down for the count. It’s the season of *chaos*—long lines at Target, glitter from Christmas crafts glued to every surface, and waking up in a panic at 2 AM because the elf still hasn’t moved. And yet, I’m so insanely grateful for it all. 🎄🫶🏻✨

Because one day, the house won’t be filled with the sound of little feet running to see what “mischief” the elf got into. One day, my cart won’t be overflowing with matching jammies, art supplies, and way too many stocking stuffers. And one day, my hands won’t be sticky from helping tiny fingers decorate cookies that will (let’s be honest) mostly be eaten for breakfast.

Right now, we’re in it. The busy, messy, exhausting *magic* of it all. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Here’s to the moments we might someday miss. Here’s to the blessing of full carts, full homes, and even fuller hearts.

My sweet girl has been battling an incredibly painful and difficult eczema journey. As a mom, it’s been heartbreaking to watch her struggle, and finding relief has felt impossible at times. These mittens you see on her hands are called @scratchsleeves, and they’ve been nothing short of a game-changer for our family. They’ve helped protect her sensitive skin, giving us all some much-needed peace of mind (and sleep!).

I know this isn’t the most ‘aesthetic’ picture, but I felt like I *had* to share because this product has made such a difference in our day-to-day life.

Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing more of the tools, products, and tips that have helped us navigate this journey. If you’re also in the trenches with eczema, I hope these will bring you some hope and relief, too. 💛

last night we officially had a visit from the paci fairy 🧚‍♀️✨🩵

(I also had to make a quick trip to target because she changed what she was expecting the fairy to bring as she was falling asleep)

some things we did to make this a success
✨started talking about saying goodbye to the paci a week in advance
✨watched short videos and read books about the paci fairy
✨gave her grace (and lots of cuddles) while she worked through sleeping without it
